BOTOX® is made from botulinum toxin A, a therapeutic muscle-relaxing agent approved by the FDA for several different uses. It is administered directly into the targeted facial areas as an injection to relax the muscles and smooth the skin. Wrinkles will begin to fade within the first 24 hours, with continued improvement over the next 5 days.

JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel

JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel is a smooth consistency gel designed to restore volume to the skin while reducing the appearance of moderate to severe facial wrinkles. This gel is made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the skin that helps add volume and hydration, and is safe and effective for most patients who wish to reduce or eliminate the appearance of wrinkles.

Radiesse®

Radiesse® is a synthetic injectable filler that is FDA-approved to reduce the appearance of moderate to severe wrinkles, folds and creases around the nose and mouth. This is done by augmenting the skin's natural collagen supply through a safe and effective injection. In addition to smoothing wrinkles, Radiesse® also effectively adds volume and fullness to the face.

Radiesse® injections take only 15 minutes to perform and require only a local anesthetic. Most patients can return to work and other regular activities right after their appointment. The results of a Radiesse® injection are visible immediately and can last for up to a year or longer. Touch-up treatments can help prolong the effects of Radiesse®.

Sclerotherapy of Spider Veins

Sclerotherapy is a medical procedure used to treat unsightly spider veins by injecting a specialized solution into the vein, causing irritation and eventual collapse of the vein. The collapsed veins are then safely absorbed by the body into the bloodstream.

This procedure is performed in the office setting, giving effective results with minimal pain and no need for anesthesia. Patients can return to work and other normal activities the same day. The number of injections needed during each session may vary depending on the number and size of the damaged veins.

Photo Rejuvenation & Hair Removal (Intense Pulsed Light)

Photo rejuvenation can reduce the signs of aging and restore our skin to a more youthful appearance by treating sun damage, freckles, age spots, acne scarring, enlarged pores and redness, as well as birthmarks and uneven pigmentation. This is done by a non-invasive laser treatment that delivers painless pulses of light to the targeted areas of the skin.

There is no recovery time associated with this procedure and a very low risk of complications, giving it many advantages over microdermabrasion or chemical peels, which often cause temporary redness and swelling. Patients will usually require several rejuvenation sessions, which take about 20 minutes each, in order to achieve their desired results.

IPL Hair Removal

Forget shaving, waxing, tweezing and electrolysis – Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology provides long-lasting hair removal on any area of the body. IPL photoepilation uses high-energy pulses of light to remove unwanted hair from the face, back, legs, bikini line and other areas without damaging nearby tissue. First, a cold gel is applied to the skin. Then the IPL handpiece is moved back and forth across the selected area. Hair beneath the skin surface absorbs the light and heats up, loosening from the follicles and eventually falling out. Patients can return to work and all regular activities immediately after the procedure. Hair begins immediately and is long-lasting, with some permanent thinning. Several treatments may be desired for optimal results.

Syneron™ Matrix RF™

Sublative Rejuvenation with the Matrix RF™ system by Syneron™ is an FDA-approved treatment for unwanted skin imperfections such as wrinkles, scars, discolorations, sun damage and more. This advanced treatment uses low-level light therapy to provide gradual but noticeable improvements to the appearance of the skin without overheating or damaging the outer layer of the skin.

The Sublative Rejuvenation treatment produces results comparable to aggressive treatments like facelift or a chemical peel, without the associated downtime and painful recovery often associated with those procedures. To achieve effective results, most patients will need three 20-minute treatment sessions, each spaced four to six weeks apart. The specific number will depend on each patient’s individual skin condition and treatment goals.

Chemical Peels - 70% Glycolic, TCA

A glycolic peel is a mild form of chemical peel used to smooth the skin and improve the appearance of fine wrinkles, dryness, uneven pigmentation and acne, while a TCA is a medium-depth peeling that can treat similar conditions in darker-skinned patients, as well as those seeking treatment for the neck and other areas of the body.

During this treatment, the solution is applied to the skin with no need for any anesthetic, and then washed off later at home. Some patients may experience temporary redness, stinging, irritation and crusting of the skin.

Hand Rejuvenation

As we age, the skin on our hands can change just as much as the skin on our face, resulting in thinner, sagging skin and an increased visibility of tendons and veins. Hand rejuvenation is a restorative treatment that combines skin fillers, laser treatment and chemical peels to restore lost volume and improve the overall appearance of the hand.

The skin of the hand is first injected with a dermal filler that stimulates collagen production and thickens the skin to make underlying veins less visible. Laser treatment works with the filler to improve the texture of the skin while also removing sun spots and other blemishes. Most patients notice significant results after a series of four treatments.
